• Work with network and trading teams to design, implement, and verify lowest latency network solutions

Responsibilities:

• Manage, measure, mentor, and lead the Data Center Engineering team
• Maintain integrity of global data centers

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join one of the software teams building low latency trading applications.

To qualify for this role, you have significant experience developing in C++ with very tight resource/latency constraints.

You have experience developing high-availability systems, a background in multi-threaded programming, and a strong understanding of hardware/software interaction. You are comfortable working “under the hood” and you are quite skilled in performance tuning (applications, *nix, sockets...) and troubleshooting. You also have experience working with STL and maybe Boost. Knowledge of the C++0X standard would be interesting to us. You might come from the trading industry or another ultra-low latency sensitive business that involves solving remarkably complex problems. You have probably worked on challenging projects that involved things like building a custom compiler or writing a matching engine.
